I want to tell you about Kazemir Malevich and his most famous picture <Black Square>. Kazimir Severinovich Malevich was a Russian painter and art theoretician of Polish descent. He was a pioneer of geometric abstract art and the originator of the avantgarde, Suprematist movement.
You can see a black square. But if you look closely you will notice that it is not square, and it is not black.
<Black Square> was painted in 1915, when Malevich was preparing for the exhibition. This picture caused a great sensation. Critics have unravel it's mysteries still yet. What is the secret of this picture? They say that people with underdeveloped imagination see only square in the "Black Square".
